In many parts of Africa, water tables are low, or sources are polluted. Solution: install a water-harvesting tank, to collect abundant rain during the rainy season to use in the dry season. For schools, the ability to provide on-site clean drinking water and irrigation for vegetable gardens means better nourished pupils and hours saved on fetching water.
